Targeting automotive applications the EmRunner H plus e1 has been approved by Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt with e1 certification. This CarPC has been designed for telematic and map-navigation applications, offering high shock resistance and low power consumption of max 20W from 12-24V sources.
Combinded with GPS position engine and GPRS module it can be used for tracking and controlling truck operation and routing. Actual position and operating conditions are known for every vehicle at every time. Firmware updates and upload of operating data can be done using Wireless LAN when the vehicle returns to base location. |
