The VS-7600 4G card enables systems to use mobile communication functions. The card comes in PCI Express Mini card form factor to install in an internal slot for a mobile Modem card. The connection to SIM card is via the Mini PCI Express slot in the system.
Driver support is given for Windows OS (7 and later) and Linux as well.
Worldwide Use
The LTE function supports the regions Europe, North America, South America, Asia, Australia, Africa and APAC. So barring rare exceptions the systems with this card installed will have High Speed mobile communication all over the world.
Operation with VScom Products
This card has been selected to support the systems Baltos iR 5221 and iR 3220, as well as the NetCom Plus devices with four and eight/sixteen serial ports. The firmware in NetCom Plus servers and the Linux starter kits in Baltos already support this add-on card. The same applies to the devices derived from Baltos systems, mainly the VPN Routers and the viaVPN Routers.
Of course it will operate in many Industrial PC as well.
Additional functions
The card supports two antenna for LTE to be used in MIMO operation for increase of bandwidth and signal strength.
It also provides location services via GPS, GLONASS and Beidou systems. The separate socket supports passive and active antenna for GPS.
