The Q7-Eden 500 COM (Computer on Module) uses a low power VIA Eden ULV CPU with 500 MHz, together with the all-in-one VX800 chipset, which integrates both the north- and south-bridges at a power consumption of 9 Watt maximum. The Q7 COM comes up with 512 MB onboard DDR2 SDRAM (1 GB optional) and also at the MXM connector implements high speed busses: PCIe, USB 2.0, Serial ATA, Gigabit Ethernet and SDIO.
This module offers multiple graphical interfaces by LVDS and DVI. Additionally CRT displays can be used via a carrier board, using an extra 13 pin FPC cable.
Power management helps for power saving standby mode. The module operates up to 60°C environment temperature with a passive heatspreader.
